Don't know what to call them hence the ?
Rear removable panels on clocks used to have a small brass turn buckle type fitting to hold the panel in place.
Anybody know where I can buy a couple?

Do you mean a small catch shaped like a pointer?

If so, I made a couple myself by cutting them out of a brass fingerplate from an old door.

Yep! But as the clocks I'm currently making are for gifts I'm not sure that I want to make something that might look 'home made.'

Not that type Paul, sorry.
The type you rotate on the outside of the case.
They were fitted in their thousands to the 'Napolean Hat' type mantle clocks if that helps.
