200mm fine wire wheel 5/8 arbor

Hi,

Does anybody know where you can get a fine (0.1-0.2mm wire diameter) wire wheel. I have a 0.3mm brass coated steel wire wheel but it gouges softer metal components

These chaps in Penrith have an extensive mail order range.
I've bought from them before onl;ine and at trade shows.
I wonder if 0.3mm stainless wire would be less aggressive than 0.3mm brass coated carbon steel ?

Have you thought about using a scotchbrite wheel for the grinder (I take by the size that is what it is for)

jewelers supply stores have them, , but-often in a wooden hub intended for a tapered shaft, but they often sell adapters as well. But like any wire wheeel, you've got to pay attention to max rpm!

I dunno if a router speed control would work on a regular bench grinder.
