One of the jobs i managed to get installed this week. With.the help of a fellow trademate, a oreil bay window. This customer is a fan of very simple square edges and clean lines. He hated the plastic window this replaced with a circualr corner post and lots of cover/filler strips around the edges.....this one is accoya construction, white opaque joinery spray finish, white glass edge spacers, white draught seals.... You get the picture...
We managed to reuse the top piece of lead, however the bottom biece was badly satined, we think fromt he brass screws they had used, but not sure ift hat is correct.
The edge seal is hidden, the sealant was beaded ontot he brickwork and then the window pused back onto it, the beveled surface of the back edge of the window suited this perfectly.
Plasterer to finish off the inside.
