I've bought a meat mincer. Unfortunately they sent the wrong model, it's come labelled 110V with a US plug.
There has been no problem getting a refund, but I was wondering if it is likely that it has some sort of universal motor in it that is simply configured for 110V and could therefore be reconfigured for 240V. I've not yet opened it up to have a look, not least because I don't know what to look for (short of a switch labeled 110/240 )
Is this likely or do I just need to bin it?
