Hahahaha brill story made my day. My worst tip experience was filling the car the night before to get an early start. It was garden waste and the number of bloody spiders I subsequently found in the car was unbelievable. Wife hates them and weeks later she'd be having a hissy fit as another one appeared out a vent/gap as we were blasting down the motorway.

I'd like to be able to say that's never happened in this household... ;-)

What a stupid mastike to make! Just cause they are 2 of the same make that's no excuse.

We used to have 2 Citroëns before we moved over and in all the time we had them I never made a silly mastike like that. Just cause one was a BX and the other was a 2CV was nowt to do with it

Your's did make I giggle though!

A guy on a Locksmithing forum I use has a story about accompanying his Dad on a job, and parking their work can in a parking lot. Part way through, his Dad sent him to get the van and collect some part of tool from their shop.

He walked to the van, drove to the shop, slung the bits into the passenger seat, and drove the van back to the parking lot... Past The van he should have taken, which was still parked a few spaces further from the job!

He'd taken a van of the same make and model, keys had worked the door and ignition, and he never noticed a ring till he drove past a familiar looking registration!

Another 2 skoda family here. Octavia estate 2.0tdi 150ps, and Fabia 1.2 TSI 110ps. Very happy with both.

Claymore

If your track is so bad, why not look out for an old road roller!!! After a few goes up and down you could swap it for an F1!!!
