I know, I should have said EU, not Europe.
It's just too difficult/expensive to buy from the UK.
Not just that many suppliers no longer want to send to Europe, but sometimes just Italy, the costs at this end for courier handling charges from the UK make it daft. 18 euro or £15 just to work out the VAT. I've been charged £15 postage for a £3 first class letter containing a couple of washers costing a couple of £'s.
I've just placed an order with classic, we'll see how it goes when it gets here.

Looking for the 4"/100mm.
It's amazing how much time I spend looking for stuff. I finally bit the bullet and ordered it from the UK as I'd been looking for some time.
I always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When I lived in Ireland it was cheaper for me to fly to Italy and buy a minimax machine and ship it back than to buy it from McQuillans.
