1 MT Adaptor needed, Update this might help you!

Friends,
I need a 1 MT adaptor that is parallel on the outside with approximately 1 inch OD.

My production work of dozens of Napkin rings means that I do not want to constantly remove the chuck to fit a drill chuck tasper into the headstock.

Any ideas?

I have studied the Axminster but the OD is too large.

Assume you mean a 1" bar with a MT1 bore rather than an MT1 male taper with a 1" plain section on the end

You fit it into your chuck and fit your drill MT into it.

If anyone else is looking for an adaptor to use in a chuck they might try this for size!

I have purchased this one because gives me the beefy shank to clamp in the chuck.

It is not the O/D that I was originally lookiing for but it suffices!

I hadn't seen your thread before and was impressed with what you found, but that did lead me to wonder quite why ?

I'm having difficulties seeing how you are holding the work-piece if the drill chuck is in the lathe chuck - and then I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason ....but why are you working what seems to be a***e over t*t ?
