    Current working on a commission (13" Purple Heart bowl) and I have some hairline cracks. I usually use zap a gap, the thin stuff, but I'm all out! I know timberline in tonbridge stock it but uncertain if they are open tomorrow. Does anyone know of a readily available alternative or a stockist...

    I will be entering one of these comps some time soon, but alas I too have been busy. November is the busiest month for Christmas fairs and building up stock before hand has been sapping my time - but I love it! Good luck to all that enter :)

    I was reading a while back about mention of a finishing wax or system that gives a plasticy looking finish in some peoples opinion. High gloss finish. Can remember what it's called to search for it. I'd like to get it to give it a try on a lovely grained piece of coco bolo

    For me it's the application of the sander sealer, when the wood comes to life and you get a glimpse of the finish to come.
