    Yes, think i've had that problem, although It didnt confuse, or make me worry - I just kept loosening it with the spanner. Think, my Makita 3612CX does it, and same with my Trend T5.

    You could take it to a local woodyard, or a local cabinetmaker and i'm sure they will prepare it for you. Of course they will charge :roll:

    plywood......

    Oak veneered PLY 18mm your looking at around £60-80. MDF with oak veneer would be around £50. THe positive points are that it works out cheaper than making it with real wood and also it will be much more stable. Negative points are, you will never be able to imitate a solid wood panel with it.

    I used a rapesco gun to clad the inside walls of a friends shed. It worked (just) - but was no good for doing much else. It oftem left the nails sticking out a bit (Between 2 and 10mm) and these I would then have to knock in with a hammer. Personally, I would spend £20 or £30 on a decent...
