    If you are going to teach people. Then learn a few knots....Then learn to tie them left/right handed.... Blindfolded.....one handed.....hands behind back. I was a scout leader for 26 years If we learned to do them like this, you can teach anyone, Visually impaired, disabled, left/right handers...

    TBH. I thought that steel wool was mild steel. When I left the last lot outside, it went rusty. You learn something new every day

    Cheapy from B& Q will do the job, Mine had lasted a long time. I found out ages ago from a bearing company. Cheap or expensive. They all use the same bearings in them.

    No, Only a cheapy. My own fault. I had closed a steel hoop with it using a lot of force. Thought I had got away with but obviously not

    I'm about to embark on building my first set of gates. I decided to move my carpenters vice to make it more useable. Screwed it all into place, Then found out that the casting has stripped it's threads. I can get round not using it, but it's going to be harder than I need it to be.

    I work in Automotive supply in a very lowly level. (flt driver). I have also done a bit of lean training. It's al very well doing that, But you totally loose your ability to be nimble and flexible. Also, don't get sucked into an Ivory tower. Things don't always go to plan. It's the real world...
