    It IS a monster!!

OPJ Good purchase. I have the 10" version - this is how I managed to fit it in the workshop: I use it all the time - added a Laserkerf laser guide too which is a real boon. The sliding fence borrows my micro-adjustable stop from my Scheppach table saw. Cheers Gidon

    Bosch Multipurpose Tool

Neil isn't there an adapter Fein sell for their new Mutlimasters - would that work on the Bosch? Interesting that you've done a direct comparison. Have to say I've always been tempted but you're right the Multimaster Start isn't that much more. Plus it has more power and loads of attachments...

Attaching piano hinge to stable door problem?

Sorry Chris - welcome to the forum and thanks for the tip - that's a good idea. Schultzy - some great ideas there. Probably going to go with one of them or a variation of. Only thing is I think they all show on the front of the door - and at the minute we're giving the playhouse a clear finish...

Attaching piano hinge to stable door problem?

Thanks for the quick replies. I wanted to use a piano hinge to avoid children getting their fingers caught. Would prefer to stick with that plan but guess will have to revert to butt hinges if no other choice. Noel - yes tried that - but not enough room for extra holes unfortunately. Can Steve...

Attaching piano hinge to stable door problem?

I'm trying to attach the door of the playhouse I'm making using a piano hinge. The one I've get is 25mm wide and it's hard getting hold of ones wider. The problem is the screw holes happen to fall exactly where the cladding is nailed to the door frame and therefore have no hold! Can anyone think...

    Scheppach-HMS260-Planer-Thicknesser Manual

Paul This might help - it's the setup notes I scanned in for someone else. http://www.tregarras.com/misc/Scheppach ... 0notes.PDF I do have the manual too if you need me to scan in a specific section. Cheers Gidon

Aurio bites the dust - zut alors

Thanks Phil for the pricing comparison. Looks like Tools for Woodworking has already sold out of their popular rasps since I looked (few asterisked tools left). When I compared the prices on the popular rasps they were significantly higher at Classic Hand tools - hence my post. Cheers Gidon

Aurio bites the dust - zut alors

What a pity. How can Mike's prices be so much higher than the US sites when the rasps are made in France and he is one of main distributers? Cheers Gidon

    Router table/Woodrat/DIY table

Hi Martin Sorry missed your post. It's a Incra V27 - very good value. It works perfectly in my router table (although has had limited use) but I would add a decent fence and stop for proper use on the table saw. The build and accuracy is very good. Cheers Gidon

    Materials for Rabbit Hutch.

Dave B&Q cutting I find pretty accurate for that sort of job. And repeat cuts should be spot on - and for making something like that, that's probably what matters. But other than that sorry I can't help. Cheers Gidob

    Router table/Woodrat/DIY table

Welcome. Not sure of the price of Woodrats in the US, but some Incra stuff is less than half price! I paid £50 for an Incra Lite which is superb and you'll love the repeatability. The Jessem stuff also looks very nice with US prices. Here's my Incra fitted on my homemade table top, with an added...

    Playhouse - WIP - FINISHED!

Thanks chaps. Erm - FECN - we actually bought a children's table and chairs from Ikea to go inside ! Yes removing those B&Q stickers is also something I still have to do! Will keep the pictures coming - thanks for the interest. Cheers Gidon

    Incra Wonderfence

Tony Yes - I stick my screwdriver through the holes in the front of the fence, loosen the screws and slide it off. I'm then left with the original fence - the homemade fence attaches directly to it. It's pretty straightforward for the amount of times I use the right angle fence. Cheers Gidon
