Aah .. be a bit careful though .. not all pumbing plastic is the same stuff, and solvent weld cements are for specific plastics, and don't work too well on others.. Plumbing plastics include uPVC cPVC ABS PVDF SYGEF HDPE MDPE Polyorc etc etc ... Generally, your 11/2" / 11/4" / 2"...

Just started using 'Georges Oil' as I have been calling it ! .... :wink: 8) And I really like the finish it imparts ... I used it on the 'first hollow form' effort, and also on this Sycamore Platter ... I gave it 4 coats, left 24 hours between them, and it sucked it in really well...
