    I have been looking to purchase a lathe I am new to this I have put another message on general wood working. I have now decided to buy a small new one I have been looking at Rutland lathe are they ok for me to get started.some of them come with the chuck. I ham only growing to do small things...

    That's the trouble with second hand lathes I will not now what's right or if it's a good bargain. I think I will go for new .I will get a small one to start of I don't now which lathe to go for Axminster or record power. Tyvm for all your help.
