Who is in and who is out?

I recall some months back a number of well regarded investment gurus (for want of a better description) warning that shares were significantly over valued and that a large market correction was inevitable before long, and advising their clients to reduce their exposure to equities where...

Who is in and who is out?

No it's not, and no it wasn't, what an absurd and hysterical thing to say.

Who is in and who is out?

 Sounding very similar to the Remainiacs on telly last night, nothing good or positive to offer

Who is in and who is out?

A lot of them will likely be lawyers, bankers and other vested interests Roger who tend do very well out of the EU :)

Who is in and who is out?

Would be nice to think that could be the case Terry, do you know of any examples of that in reality over the last few years/decades that suggest it to be more than wishful thinking ?

Who is in and who is out?

The comment about Nazi tendencies seems very odd and emotive Jake, are you suggesting that because I am in favour of controlling the inflows of new arrivals into the UK that I have Nazi tendencies ?!!! Have to say that I've not met a lawyer yet who wasn't rabidly in favour of the ECHR and the...

First half decent table saw wanted

Does sound like it, I would agree that a track saw doesn't seem to fit the bill in this case. I'm thinking now though that a mitre saw and bandsaw may be a better bet than a table saw, more functionality and suited for the tasks mentioned ? Whether a table saw or bandsaw/mitre saw approach...

Who is in and who is out?

Very interesting Chas and continues the background story of large corporate and other vested interests lobbying for and achieving changes and regulations to protect and further their own interests at the expense of smaller independents and individuals, such as the recent rules on vacuum cleaner...

First half decent table saw wanted

What kind of work do you envisage using the saw for, aside from cutting bits of wood of course ?! They can, depending on model, take up a fair bit of floor space in a smaller workshop. I always found my bandsaw got a lot more use than the tablesaw and that I only really bothered with the...

    Super glue

I used to get mine from Toolstation, decent sized bottles and the best price I could find, although haven't needed any recently so that may not still be the case.

    Drill Doctor 750x

Yes, it is a valid thought of course. I think I paid around £50 for my smaller one in a rutlands "sale", and at that price it just about made sense for me, especially as I had quite a few masonry bits to do as well as the cheaper jobber bits, but I probably wouldn't have paid more than that...

Who is in and who is out?

Always thought you would come back Roger, welcome and please do stay, with Brexit that is  Leaving and/or hiding stuff till immediately after the vote concerns me also and I think is consistent with the EU and politicians approach of misleading us in the past. The European army, even if...

    Drill Doctor 750x

Sounds good to me, unless you've got the time and patience to learn to do them by hand, which I haven't ! Only other thought is how many replacement drill bits you could buy for the same money instead, but that's a bit wasteful and not so much fun :)

    Drill Doctor 750x

I have a smaller model version and it works well, spent a day hunting out and sharpening all my various drill bits after I got it and got very good results very easily.

Who is in and who is out?

I would strongly suspect that the ability of the numerous countries within the EU to agree amongst themselves is the hold up with finalising agreement with Switzerland and elsewhere, another reason to vote leave ! Has the EU not been trading with Switzerland and Canada in the meantime in any...

Who is in and who is out?

Very much my view also, I posted similar back on page 20, some time ago now ! Trying to decide long term, major, strategic issues such as this based on points of detail or forecast outcomes is to descend into a spiral of ever decreasing circles and paralysis by analysis ! The only way to...

Who is in and who is out?

Some on here do, regularly, look at Rhossydd's recent thread on Yandles and other nonsense on here ! Perhaps he has been working on the Treasury forecasts for them too
