    Axminster AW10BSB2 tablesaw - ORDERED!

They may well laugh at you that is why it is important to put it in writing. It will go to a manager that actually knows that saw is actually only worth £500 at best, but they are holding it hostage for £800, so £700 is a good deal for them, especially if you are going to go and buy one else...

    Axminster AW10BSB2 tablesaw - ORDERED!

See i think this is what your led to believe. And of course they have there policies and procedures. You are led to believe the price is the price, right? well why is it they have sales? Why do they offer 10%, some times more on certain items. The simple truth is the price is not the price...

    Axminster AW10BSB2 tablesaw - ORDERED!

I didn't exactly mean that one for sale. I just meant the 12 inch SIP. I just don't think the ten inch stands up to all we do as bench joiners. Often 10 inch machines have smaller motors that tend to burn out quite fast, and the arbors are engineered less robust then the 12 inch as well. It...

    Axminster AW10BSB2 tablesaw - ORDERED!

The cost difference is quite considerable when you include the sliding table in. I just can't see them being same quality machines. the 315 model is almost £600 price difference.

Clamp guides - the good bad and ugly.

I've always seen those things as terrible, even the trend one's. I know someone who made the same comments you have about the trend one. I have the Festool guide and saw. I just line the guide up no clamps needed and put my saw into it. Dewalt and other companies have these types of guides...

    Festool Tablesaw thingy?

And where did you find a Bosh for £200. Mine was closer to £600 with a stand, which you need for on site work.

    Festool Tablesaw thingy?

How much is it? I want it!!! I'm not big on Festool but that looks like the bee's knees. I already have the saw so if that was reasonable it would be lighter then lugging around my bosh.

Aled Dafis! Wow very nice plane! Do you use CNC to cut the parts? Or is it all by hand? I'm always amazed at the talent on this Forum.

    cap iron screws

I seen that one. The fit and finish didn't look as good. It's so hard to tell from the little photographs they use. Thanks very much. Also thanks Harbo i've been having a good look through their site.

    cap iron screws

I didn't have to look hard for adjusters so i'm sure you must of already seen these ones. http://www.toolsforworkingwood.com/indextool.mvc?prodid=MS-NADJUST If you know of other one's i'd be interested. They don't look that difficult to make with the right equipment.
