What might this be? ... I do know, but do you?

As a child my dad used to go to his uncle in the mountains. I believe they used to keep songbirds in tiny cages in the dark. When they brought them out they would sing like mad. Decent Brad point drill bits

I nearly always buy Fisch, they are very good and just keep going. I tried an Irwin once and it was useless by comparison. I believe Famag are very good too.

Is there an alternative to paying a small fortune for an abrasive cleaning stick as used on belt sanders and stationary disc sanders?

How do I lubricate and clean Diamond Sharpening Stones?

I wouldn't normally buy DMT because I have never had a flat one but recently saw a large coarse and extra coarse on Amazon for $35 so I bought it. I don't know why but that is what the instructions say.

It obviously depends how important it is to you but you could consider companies like Stackry. An added benefit is that you get to choose the value for customs of the item you have sent over.

    Worst Cookware

Iron is an element, there may well be other metals in there, but no "organic" chemicals. Personally, I don't know anyone who would classify Fe as a chemical.

    Worst Cookware

Me too. You don't even need soap to wash them, just very hot water. You do need to learn how to use them effectively though.

    Table saw advice?

    2) Finish. I need a really clean finish on the cuts, but I get some saw marks. I’ve tried a rip blade and a fine toothed blade (also vintage!) but it isn’t good enough. Is there a blade I can get or a technique I can use to get a great finish. I have an old Startrite. I thought a better blade...

    Ebay relisting?

I don't know what to say. Since leaving the UK I sell far less on Ebay as the Italian market is very different, and I am not surprised by the Italian problem. Otherwise, I have had few problems and as you point out at least you know you will get your money back. The chap I won the chisel from...
