    Incra jig dovetail cutters

I am looking for some dovetail cutters that are suitable for the Incra templates. From what I have read 7,10 & 14 degree cutters are used but I don't know the depth (the X value used by Axminster or C used by Trend) Thanks for any help you can provide. Barry ps The Incra agent said he did not...

how to route small circles trend t3

Mikes I tend to cut the outer edge 5" on the band saw and the inner using a drill bit. I have not got a very small router but if I did I would still use the bandsaw. I started out cutting larger circles with the router but the bandsaw is better of the outer circle. The problem with the router...

Guy yes I have read them - I built the dust bucket and still use it with my vacuum - had it for 1.5 years now - works well. Roger I am just completing a 6" mini cyclone at present - just waiting for the cone to be completed - finished the dust inlet and air ramp in the upper body. Made a mess of...

    Granite worktop unsupported span

Roger the granite will not be a problem - I only had problems with a hob cut outs over a greater than 600mm span but ventilation of the below counter fridge and freezer are a bigger problem. They need more than you think else they don't work very well. The heat goes up the back of the appliances...

    Aldi Router Table

I bought a B&Q Performance Pro table saw and after 18 months of mis- use took it back to B&Q and got my money back and bought a Triton saw - then more Triton from E bay. Aldi and Lidi are in a different world to B&Q - some - sorry most of their cheapies last far beyond the price you pay and...

    About DC

Tony I think you missed the point both are arguing for cyclones with different designs. Airflow is important and the stopping of the extractor becoming the biggest dust producer is very important and the standard extractors are just that with MDF. Barry

    FAO Cyclone Fans

Philly My Cheapie Cyclone with better filters and a baffle/silencer is still very good value for money - at less than £300 with all in without my labour - it was worth it. It would help if somebody produced as commercial version in the UK at a reasonable price would be great. The Cheapie

    Blast Gates

No more than you get from the bought blastgates. Mainly leak when closed - you hear the hiss. I am at present deciding if I want to convert all of my 110mm to 160mm - Got given two lengths of 3.2m of 160mm pipe. I made 100mm connections for most of my equipment - this is what takes the time...

    Blast Gates

Neil at the CCL price I will build my own. It was not worth doing with the 110mm pipe. Just modified the 100mm which were £6 in plastic. I built a blastgate for the bottom of my filter and used masonite and two pieces of 9mm MDF - was not much work. Barry

    The curse of Onetel

Since Onetel has been taken over by Talk talk their broadband has been nothing but a problem. The latest started last week on Wednesday. Called the Indian call center and was given the usual run around - we do not support routers and networks only out touchspeed modems. I set up a stand alone PC...
