    Interesting (free) utility

    I use remote desktop (the one built into Windows) to connect to my PC here while I'm in the office at work. It's a lifesaver if you forget to bring a file, it's handy to be able to access Outlook and all my emails as well.

    My first laptop was an Acer, I had no problem getting spares for it after I dropped it once and it needed a new keyboard :whistle: although it was a few years ago now so things might have changed. I've now got a Sony Vaio which cost a small fortune and I'm still paying for a year later :roll...

    It's a PITA having to format and reload. I had to do it the other week when my Dads hard drive died. I'm glad you didn't loose any of your data though :) Did you get chance to find out the name of the virus?

    The whole website would have been down for everybody this morning. It appears a update in the early hours knackered the DNS config. The ukworkshop domain is now using my newly developed DNS system (with DNS servers in London and Manchester) so hopefully what happened this morning won’t happen...
