    Keeping router sitched on.

Some router manufacturers supply a device that keeps the switch pressed down. Of course some electric tape will do the job just as good :)

    Power Tools From the USA

No problem Neil, thanks anyway. So the 110volt site transformer will work with a 120volt router? Do I need a US socket or can I just cut off the router plug and stick a 3.3 kva 110volt plug on the end? I've allowed for Vat and import duty to the price so shipping it across isn't a problem...

    Power Tools From the USA

I've noticed a few members mentioning buying routers from across the pond and with the current dollar rates as they are I thought I'd price one up. The only concern I have is if it'll work with our voltage and it seems the answer is yes although you'll loose abit of the speed/RPM. The only...

    How many candles are burning?

I'm 18, have been interested in woodwork/tools since I can remember. Our school teacher didn't let us do an 'real' woodworking, just models ands stuff.

    Elektra Beckum KGS331

I agree with Noely's comments, it's a great saw and well worth the money. The only downside for me is it hasn't got a trenching facility Aragorn I don't like the sound of that :? , thank god you were wearing your safety specs.

Axminster Next Day Delivery - RIP

John, Keep us updated about the lathe. When I move I'm planning to get into turning :) I can't tell you how many times I've used Axminster in the past and never had a problem with delivery although then again I've never bought any machinery from them only small items.
