    WOODMEX 2004

The blades are the ones that came with the (new) machine. My first thoughts were the blades and when I rang up that's what Jet thought too, and sent me a new set. The machine is supplied with a metal block which is used when setting the blades up (instead of using a straight piece of timber)...

    WOODMEX 2004

(In a movie voiceover) "Is it a bird?, Is it a plane? No It's JETBOY" :) Thanks Nick, that'll be great as at the moment it's just a good looking piece of cast iron sitting in the workshop. It's the 8" version but it's producing bows width ways (left to right) and the blades appear to be...

How do you set up your morticer?

I use a two pence piece as well or just do it by eye if I haven't got any in my pocket which is most times. There's a guide here, http://www.recordpower-usa.com/seting%2 ... chisel.htm

Which day are you going to Tools 2004?

Well I've just booked my tickets for friday and saturday :) I might be sad and get a shirt printed with the UKW logo. That way if you see me you can introduce yourself, although theres a danger that I'll be drooling everywhere over the tools - so you might just choose to avoid me :p

    Jet's on its way...

I'm bet you’re sick of me saying this, but sorry I haven't been around. This past month two of my cousins have moved into new houses so I've been helping them with that plus the list of mums for ours! I haven’t even been in the workshop for over 3 weeks - that's how bad it's been. I've got a...

    Sending a PM

When you send a PM it sits in the 'outbox' until the member you sent it to reads it. This gives you chance to edit it if need be and check if they've read it or not..

    Building your own.....(computer that is!)

Yes Overclockers are a great company. Sometimes slightly more expensive but the delivery is great. I have advised James a bit on his new computer so there is a chance it may not work :P Adam, licenced software? Whats that? Microsofts Action Pack is a good saver

    New Record Power Web Site

If you got a 'holding page' before it's most likely because they have moved servers and your ISP hadn't updated their dns records. basically your browser was still pointing to the old server.
