    Mystery tool

Well of course I just have to reply to this. :D They look like good clogs, but they are the Swedish type of clog, mainly backless, I would fall off of them. The clogs I wear do cost a lot more than those but then the woods are hand cut to fit my feet. They last for years as long as...

Shame about the blade, but did it leave its mark on the worktop? Could been seen as divine justice if it did.

    Trimming Lippings with a Router

That requires you to balance the router on the edge of the board, not an easy task, it could be done in a horizontal router table. This would give more support to the work but trimming a large table top would still be a difficult task.

    PIPES

Well the concept is old but the design is quite new, the clog in my avatar is based on a welsh flap clog but is modified to my own ideas, the style is even named after me. Take a look here about 1/3 of the way down. I know not everyone gets on wearing clogs but I find the comfort level very...

    Mini router bit?

Sorry, fingers were a lot slower than the brain yesterday, I meant to say finishing oil, or Danish oil, depends which supplier you buy from, I have used Liberon with good results. First coat soaks in like mad, but it is still important to wipe of any residue or it can become sticky.

    Mini router bit?

Hi Graham, What wood are you using? If it is oak then don't use steel wool for the smoothing as you may get dark stains due to the tanning reacting with the steel, use one of the synthetic pads, bit like the green scourers up for cleaning saucepans. I would use a finishing on the chain, brush...
