Ducting for dust extraction for 3 machines

Peter, Have a look at this old thread of mine, I used soil pipe and home made blast gates. That is still in use, I need to add more pipe work the other side of the shop as the number of machines has increased and I am back to moving the hose around which this work was to stop.

    Router table.

Sam, I think you need to check the type of motor you have on the lathe. :-k Most lathes use induction motors, while vacuum cleaners and router have universal motors. An induction motor runs at a speed that is determined from the number of poles in the motor and the frequency of the supply...

    Website check

Alan, I found that on the Order page the links to the other pages on the site no longer work. Nice clean look, the gallery does seem to stutter when loading the pictures. You could try increasing the compression on the jpg files a bit, it will reduce the quality but should improve the load times.

    Pen questions

Hi Doug, Was your order from the ebay seller Turn E Funz? I have ordered quite a few pen kits and other stuff from her and often find a 'gift' included in the package. :D I have not had any acrylic blanks but they appear to turn well, the down side is very long shavings, caused by the lack of...

Half way to a full class worth of pens...

Nicely done Stewart, have you a person in mind for each pen or is it just going to be random? I have now got a new trimmer so have made a little progress with my pens, not as many or as spectacular as yours.

    Guinea Pig Number 2

There must be something about that entrance. Richard is very good at this, I used to teach (micro electronics) and know the frustrations of working with students. ](*,) Seconded. Shame on you sir, you should know that a camera is an essential woodworking tool. #-o
