    cot finally finished

Well done. A project like that can be so time consuming. My wife didn't want me to make ours, I guess it's just as well cause time is very restricted these days!

    sideboard design

Houuuu I like... I really like it. It's a great design. I can't wait to see the finished product. What sort of knobs will you use? Use laminate Oak MDF to save Oak. For instance the 2 large side panel could be made of laminated MDF. Even the top if you use strips of real Oak to trim it...

    Blastgates - plastic or aluminium?

This was just my experience with metal gates. It may not be the same for you but just thought I'd mention it.

    Blastgates - plastic or aluminium?

Neil, I got the self cleaning ones from McQuillans, using Noel picture (although not exactly those): I am very happy with it but haven't put them through years of use yet  Barry, I discovered after installing the gates that there IS a way to place them. The lip on the gate...

    Another New Workshop Build Thread

Neil, I got most of my machinery from McQuillans on Capel street. Power tools from various places: B&Q, Axminster (the planer imported by a local supplier, got lucky on that one), Rutlands (UK), DM Tools (UK)Festool retailer in Naas, Argos (early years  ), etc... For the timber I have...

    Forum user's Radial Arm Saws

I don't have an RAS but I wanted to make sure one of the moderators thinks of adding this thread to Alf's sticky: https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6777

    Table Router

I can't measure right now but I would say that it is yes. I use a Jessem Mast R Plate and it fits easily using at least 20mm lip opening in my table. What is this 155mm restriction from, are you calculating the diagonal measurement on your opening in the router table?

    Forum users' Planers & Thicknessers

    Forum users' Table saws

I updated the list Scrit. I'll stick to tablesaws only. If someone wants to volunteer to maintain a RAS listing on a different thread it would be better.

    Forum users' Table saws

I have updated the list with tables from: wrightclan tx2man Ploget Roger Sinden Fecn snowy promhandicam The list of tablesaws is getting REALLY long  With the Scheppach TS2500 still the most owned on this forum and the Kity 419 close behind.

    Table Router

I have the Triton TRB001 and I am really happy with it. For the ability to raise the collet above the table and change the bit with one hand alone I would buy it again. It's a big one though, I think. You won't lack power with 2000W. It's JUST MADE FOR TABLES. I don't think anyone on this...
