    Grips for the bath

One of the interesting things about living on the continent, is you ahve to deal with suppliers from over the borders from time to time. I have just done our bathroom and have fitted a new German cast iron bath in the process (from Bette) , now my German is not really good, I read it as if it...

    Bench Dogs

I have round ones and I hate then. they are either too loose or too tight - depends on the humidity, the square ones are designed to fit in a loose hole, rest on the lip and hold themselves well at any height. But as said above you need to plan the build around them

Attempt to make double dovetails and cornerpost

Nice job martin You can do this easily too on the Woodrat and by hand of course if you have the time but not the budget for the incra/woodrat approach. What nice too Martin, as Houslager says, you can make the contrast wood very very thin by using the woodrat different sized bits or others...

Aurio bites the dust - zut alors

When I did my MBA (and in France) it was continually hammered into us that most businesses go out of business not due to lack of sales but due to cash flow problems, and those can appear even to very mature companies like Aurio. So you must always guard against that the order to cash process is...

    Router table/Woodrat/DIY table

No choice really, the Rat would win every time - just the best machine in the workshop. The problem with this sort of question is you get all the opinions under the sun, I love my rat so I'm very very biased. Good luck with the choice

Did part P make it to France

Your correct, the wiring for lights and sockets here is the same (NL) I presume France is the same too - Italy is that way too by the way but certainly not up to Dutch nor UK standards of workmanship!!!

Did part P make it to France

It is also very common here in NL to wire lighting and sockets on the same ring, it's a just another way of thinking about it. I was surprised too when I had the electrician wire my new built workshop when they did that, but chatting it through with them the system is safe. I'm quite technical...
