    5ft Clydesdales and Cart Project

Glad to see you back in harness again Brian. I was in awe of this piece when I first saw it and with this update it is an even more awesome piece of work. I will take the pictures into the 'Shed' next week and give my class an idea of what to aspire to in later cuttings if that is OK. ?? take...

    New Hare Intarsia

Thanks for offer Brian. Funding is a big problem so we have to try everything to keep an interest in the 'Shed' and not upset local tradesmen by taking their livelihood away e.g. we can make planters etc. for the local community as the source for these was China (via local garden centres) but...

Has anyone here made a wooden clock?

Hi, I have had a look at Brian Laws site and he has the sort of thing you want (I think). Our 'Shed' purchased a book on wooden clocks just recently and some work has started on the designs in it. There are clocks by Clayton Boyer and Brian Law (among others) and they look very "doable". Don W

    New Hare Intarsia

Thanks for this offer Brian. I have a load to do at the moment and with helping out at the 'Shed' and instructing the scroll saw users I have a big workload. If I may can I get back to you with this (or something similar) as a project for the 'Shedders' do at their own pace etc. ??? I feel it...

    Help needed with air bellows

Thanks Brian, I did have a look at this site, in fact I was re-directed there from the Einheill UK site as they no longer support UK customers ??? As you mentioned there are quite a few there but there are also quite a few 'Out of Stock'. I am toying with the idea of the aquarium pump/s to...

    Help needed with air bellows

@AES, I have seen a pump as you described and it was around £5-£6 mark. I can get one for each machine and will source the plastic tubing etc from the local aquarium supplier. @loftyhermes, I think I have found the answer, thanks for your help. Don W

Thanks for that. I don't have that access on these Workzone machines.

    Foot Switch for EX21

After a look at the questions posted and their replies, (at the bottom of the information sheet), this is a simple On/Off foot switch ie deadmans switch. THERE IS NO SPEED CONTROL WITH THIS SWITCH. It simply picks up the speed it was set at before it was switched off, just like any other switch...

    Scroll Saw clubs.

I'm sorry, I have just sat and typed a reply and somehow wiped it and had to start again. We have a 'Mens Shed' here in Glenrothes and have recently purchased 3 saws from Aldi (@£45 I believe), we have 6 members now using them and they all love it. I would suggest you look for a nearby 'Mens Shed'

    Olson scroll saw blades

I have taken this to heart and ordered the set of blades from the Hobbies site. They arrived today and I look forward to trying them out. I believe they are Niqua and the set of 9 dozen I ordered were fairly cheap @ £20.32. Here's hoping it all goes well.

    Just to say Hi

Welcome to our little place. Loads of information on here. One of my first cuttings was a fish and it takes pride of place in the kitchen. Cut from a piece of ¾" redwood (looked like pine to me). It is cut from one piece so is really Segmentation but when painted makes a really nice first...

bandsaw blades 56 1/2" long for sale

Is there any interest in these blades at all ?? Axminster has a list of the machines these blades will fit if that is of any use. Now £15 including postage.

    Olson scroll saw blades

Thanks for the help chaps. "apart from make I find that much more important is the blade size (number) - AND the price of course." I am with you there, my goto is a #5 reverse tooth but there is a difference in prices and the postage is a big thing as well

    Olson scroll saw blades

Thanks again for that. Are Niqua the 'Yellow Pack' blades on the Hobbies site ??

    Olson scroll saw blades

I may try the Pegas blade as I note Axminster have them. I started with Olson and have always used Olson without a problem. The suppliers I used have both closed their doors. Maybe time for a change. I have had a look at Yandles but their site is horrendous (IMHO) with pinned and plain blades...
