    Table saw tripping electric

I bought a new Scheppac 105 table saw and I am delighted with it, but the only thing is the surge on the electric when I turn it on trips the supply to my workshop - 16amp I think I could upgrade to 20 amp at distribution board? (not me but an electrician) Works fine from an extension cable from...

    Workshop hardware

I agree with NewbieRaf. WWMM has a good work bench plan and a "Kit out you shop for a $1000" video. Best tip ever for a small shop - put everything on castors. Much more flexible and easier to clean. Just about to use his plans to build a Lumber (wood) mobile storage unit.

    MDF GLUE

Greetings, If you haven't purchased your MDF yet, I would suggest going for the 18mm for the main "structure". Price difference not a lot. use pockets screws and glue. Use 12mm or even 6mm for room walls.

    Anyone know where...?

Good Morning, I am a novice at woodworking, but I would have thought a Carpenter for 50 years would just make one? I need a panel door for an airing cupboard that's only about 600 wide so after watching a few videos I'm going to give it a go.

What sheet material for a 7m2 carport roof?

Why not use plastic coated metal. If the car port has trusses you would just need to put three batons across - top, middle, bottom and fix to them. Metal Roofing Sheets | Corrugated Roof Sheeting | Cladco Profiles I did my garage (about 30m2 for about £1000) including all the fixings and barge...

    Wind fall Wood

When I got my log burner a few years ago I enquired with the Forestry Commission about picking up fallen wood and they informed me I would need a "scavengers licence", but none were available in my area. As previously said they wanted it to rot away for wildlife reasons. Probably a bit different...

    Table saw, router, neither, both.

I am also an inexperienced woodworker and have recently replaced my crappy Triton table saw with a Scheppach HS105. £250 and it is excellent. Big difference is the fence locks front and back. It took a 3mm trim off a 4m long board perfectly. I have a palm router which I struggle with and need to...

If it's only a gap filler a piece of UPVC facia board would do the job. comes in a couple of thicknesses. No problem with moisture!

    Table saw Dado/groove cutter

Thanks guys. I haven't got space for a router table as well as tables saw. Have you got a link to CMT please. Just started using table saw and having trouble finding UK videos (hence my question about Dado stack)- any recommendation?
