    Sorry MattRoberts not sure what you mean by middle ring,can you explain please. Ian I am hope the pipe run from the extractor to outside will only be about 2m long including going through the double block skin wall.I will be putting a Y piece in that 2m run for a second extractor (Record DX1000)

    Sorry for the late reply,been out of range for a while but thanks for your input guys. This may sound stupid but if I duct outside will I still need the dust collection bag for any small amounts of dust or can I block it off and expect everything that does not go in the Thien type chip...
