    Hi geoff, just to day the rod in the top arm of my EX21 snaped,Had the saw for 7 months not worked it very hard and up to now very pleased with it. Axminster are getting TNT to collect and sorting the problem. I do find the blade holders are very critical the clamps have to be set just right...

    Did it this morning, gone and ordered my new Excalibur ex21, Hope I like it, and will soon be looking for a good home for my old faithful Axminster AWFS 18, All I got to do now is tell the wife, LOL.....If I am not on the forum for a few days I will proberly be in the local A & E geoff3.

    Yep I agree with Mike . Pinned blades are really limited in what you can cut the pins mean you have to drill very large holes for internal cuts. and believe me you will want to make small holes before very long. Geoff3

    Hi Tony, I have 4 legs on mine I think you need all the sopport you can get to help absorb the vibration when at full revs, I sit on a stool when sawing, rear legs raised about 4 inches, this helps lessen the strain on my neck and shoulders, its easier to follow the cutting line when looking...
