    My saw was very stiff on tilting a complete strip down cured it with if i remember part 32 was seized into the casting so as the lead screw moved along the part 32 was canted onto the lead screw making it tight then it would suddenly twisted it went free for a turn or so then was canted over...

    No need for a diamond wheel a 1mm cut-off disc will work fine as well for roughly cutting your edge to shape

    I'm still failing to see what you are trying to do You have a small 1/4 hp motor which will run on mains electricity ( which you are paying for)? You will attempt to drive the alternator with this to generate electricity to run a washing machine or heavy load when theres no sunshine ? why not...

    well then to drive your high load stuff washing machine using your battery bank as a floating supply/smoother you said you were driving a 3000 w generator from a 1/4hp motor ( 3000watts is about 4 hp )
