    What numbers can cause an extortionate amount to be charged? 07..... are mobiles so 25p min 09.... are premium rate so could be £1 min neither particulary extortionate given that you are only going to be on 10 seconds to see who it is Ian

    You will be lucky to get a thread of finer than 0.5mm anywhere the finest thread i have seen is 80tpi on microscope parts which is about 0.3 mm pitch yes put a big round dial on the end and divide it up to give the resolution you need Ian

    Oh yes at normal auctions theres buyers commission of perhaps 15% and vat if its a business selling their assets but ebay you ought to pay the hammer price and if its a business they give you a vat receipt with gross figure being the hammer price
