    I agree with Mel , This would give you better head room inside also . Im not sure the angle your looking to make will work with a truss , isn't there a minimum degree before the fixing plates become a weak joint ? I would make a window frame up and use that to support the front of the roof .

    No cutters ? Thats not right ! If you dont have the cutters you cant use it as soon as you get it home and make stupid things that have no use !

    Nick , sorry i've only just seen this post . Looking at your website i think the Legacy would be very helpful to you , especially the template following function for tables and chairs . Yes it is expensive and the template follower is an additional cost but you don't need to buy it all at once ...

    Roger i have found trying to plan where to put things doesn't work as you need to move them when you do a different kind of job / project . You mention a second bay :D Knock a door through and have your workbench and build area there 8-[ Dont tell yer missus and we wont :-$ .
