Chicken coop - but roof problem

That was my fall back plan but I'm trying to do it without spoiling the look of the roof. Not sure if that's possible though.

Chicken coop - but roof problem

Umm, like the idea but not sure if I can incorporate that into the design at this late stage.

Chicken coop - but roof problem

My frsit big project but I seem to have come across a design floor. I have built the coop using 25mm t&g including on the roof but the roof is leaking - it would appear to be coming in through the joints in the t&g. I have used a sealant - brown stuff as used on window frames and put a small...

    Anyone visited Lie Nielsen works

Ah, we're planning a driving holiday in september around Maine, Boston down through Baltimore and ending up in Washington. The route might well incorporate the LN site - Mrs H will be pleased!!!

    New workshop plans and advice

Probably going to sound very stupid here - but I know some bigger machines are three phase only. I know NOTHING about electricity and leave that to the experts, but I'm wondering if it's worth getting a three phase supply to the workshop. Is it much different to getting a single phase supply...

    New workshop plans and advice

Getting closer! I've finally decided on the size of the new workshop and layout of the building. It will be this style - but obviously not 'L' shaped and with this style roof I am waiting for the quotations from the builder for the foundations and also for the electricians but I'm...

    Bargain Jet P/T at Axminster

I have a Jet bandsaw which I bought about four years ago - will be upgrading soon but it's been an excellent machine for the money. In my experience Jet kit is perfectly adequate.

    Help needed indentifying wood type

I agree - oak veneer type fake stuff, which would tie in as it looks as though the photo was taken in a hotel so they're unlikely to have gone for the real deal - unless, I suppose, it was the Savoy or similar.

    Remote Switching

What a superb piece of kit - I'm buying one tomorrow morning! No more walking ten feet to the extractor for me for me!

Axminster ade 2220 Dust extractor - fixing help

Having taken an etxra week off work I've been messing around in the workshop doing lots of useful things like emptying the dust extractor for the first time. The metal clip on the strap came off when I was taking the bottom bag off. I can't seem to reattach the clip - I notice that the top...

Small fine dust extractor - advice

Dave Thanks for the tip - I would never laugh at a money saving tip. I'm thinking of the Trend T30AF - possibly - but I haven't ruled anything out. I'll pop in tomorrow and take a look. Tried looking on their website but as usual the B&Q one is hopeless.
