    Pygmy goats rather than dairy goats which I plan to keep in the orchard although Mrs H has pointed out that they will probably strip the bark off her fruit trees and kill them so some sort of fencing is required, I think.

    I've had another of my mad ideas and decided to keep bees from next year - haven't got a clue where to start and I know there's websites on it but there's normally a wealth of knowledge on here that I thought this was as good a place as any to start - any tips or advice?

    How hard is it to actually lay concrete and get it level? I have never tied before and if I get ready mixed delivered it wwill save a hell of a lot rather than getting a builder in - but bit worried I'll screw it up...

    On that note anyone know what the hinge on this coop is called - trying a quick design change and see if it can be incorporated. Need to get a couple asap as chickens arriving soon and Mrs H is very anxious

    Umm, should really work off plans. Borrowed a design - looking at a picture - from a chicken coop company - but didn't fully think it through. D'oh! Thanks for all of your advice - will have to think this through.
