They both look like oak to me too. We need smelly-vision.

    Vevor tools

I have no experience with Vevor turning tools but, I suspect that if you bought one of these sets you will probably, very quickly, learn how to sharpen turning tools because my feeling is that you will constantly have to return to the grinder to put a new edge on. That's possibly not a bad...

I remember the days that bikini would have fit me or the wife.

    Ideas to fix pilar drill

Bugger. I saw this after your last post. I had that version many years ago and I broke my plastic part too as I remember.

    Ideas to fix pilar drill

No probs. I thought I may as well print a third in-case and have a spare for who may want it. FYI I printed them in PLA Silk at 0.2 and 30% infill.

    Ideas to fix pilar drill

The nut is inserted under the print. It looks l like square nuts might be used to help clamp them together but I can sort that. It's as easy to print one as three although I think Mudman is printing his own. I'll print three tonight and if Mudman is making his own, there will be a spare. I'm...

Post a photo of the last thing you made

I think you've probably ended going down a better route than the pocket screws for an outdoors planter. As good as they are in many circumstances, the damp and wood movement wouldn't fair well in my opinion.

Collection of 3d printing files relevant for woodworking

Don't know if I'll ever use it but this is one of many profile followers' STL files on Thangs. I made the small screws box too.

I couldn't sleep when we entered the pandemic lockdown. So I drew on my mallet.

    Rex-Cut Wood Copy Lathe Query

She has been trying to sell these two too but won't post. I suggested she clump them together the the rest of the walking stick stuff. I think he was a bloke we would have all liked to have had a pint with.

    Rex-Cut Wood Copy Lathe Query

Could try the Dudley Men's Shed I suppose. She has a fair bit that she will probably end up Freecycling too.

    Rex-Cut Wood Copy Lathe Query

It does look like the Clarke lathe except it's probably twice the weight. I think whoever takes it will need Geoff Capes and his dad to help move it. The copy attachment alone is a fair old muscle puller.

    Rex-Cut Wood Copy Lathe Query

This morning I collected something for my pond from Freecycle. This lady is a widow of a fellow who had a myriad of hobbies. When she mentioned he left a large lathe and didn't know how much she should ask for it I offered to have a look to see if I could advise. When I saw it was a woodwork...
