    Haircut

Would be good to see some pictures of you hirsute gentlemen. I used to have long hair, and the full on zz top beard. No pictures I'm afraid, otherwise I would start the ball rolling myself :)

    Drill/ reamer/ tap storage?

I am with you entirely on accessibility. Many is the time when I have wasted time looking through drawers for something. Usually because the drawer I put it in, which no doubt seemed entirely logical at the time, now doesn't. Only things I can think of I have on the wall are the hold down stuff...

    This could be interesting ...

Joseph Whitworth The Worlds Best Mechanician is well worth reading. A pioneering engineer in so many ways.

    Your Cars

I remember driving a Daf, very weird with the revs remaining steady as you went faster. If I remember correctly one quirk was that it could go as fast in reverse as it could forwards 😳

That is very nice indeed :)

    Drill/ reamer/ tap storage?

As someone who has a, admittedly maybe irrational, loathing of hanging tools on the wall, makes me feel quite queasy. You have some great stuff, but I would want it all in labelled drawers, out of the nasty dust etc 😂 I am with you on hanging strimmer on hooks on the ceiling, at least I assume...

    Severance negotiations

If it does go the wrong way it is well worth getting hold of the company policy on the matter, and how it should be conducted. There have been quite a few cases where people have won at Tribunals because the company has not followed its own policy, even though it's actions may not have been...

    UK Drills?

Another satisfied customers here. Tracey tools also very good, especially for taps and dies.

    Severance negotiations

Has the issue of severance been specifically mentioned, or an assumption on your part. Could be that your employer wants to better understand what they might be doing wrong to cause you to be looking elsewhere. Have to say if it is an assumption on your part that does suggest you have some...

    Buying from EU

Kind of my point, it's never going to happen, so why even leave it on the table as fuel for their opponents. And they need to get a grip of their own waste of money. The regular shuffle between Brussels and Strasbourg is a good example. A completely pointless waste of over €100,000,0000...

    Buying from EU

All good points, and why they should have left it at that. It seems to me the aspiration to political union is where the problems lie, and yes I accept that was always on the agenda. And the EU apparent inability to address some issues or accept any need to reform, for example why the hugely...

    Drill/ reamer/ tap storage?

Wow, you have a very understanding other half. I would need a suit of armour before risking car stuff in the house 😂

    Wadkin bra 1961

I have always found that, as long as the clip is under a little tension, the ends can just be squeezed together with finger and thumb and everything pops out most satisfactorily. Works on the bras I have dealt with anyway :)

    Drill/ reamer/ tap storage?

I also have some of the plastic A4 sized shallow drawers. They live in my study and are ideal for my watchmaking tools.

    Drill/ reamer/ tap storage?

Have around ten sets of the bisley drawers under a kitchen worktop, they are very good. Never seen the Decathlon boxes before, not a fisherman. They look just the job and have just ordered some, thanks for the tip. My old Myford metal lathe sits on top of a multi drawer wheeled mechanics type...

    Bench grinding wheels

Wheels generally come with inserts to suit various diameter shafts, with a big dished washer either side, the washers coming with the machine itself. I would think someone has turned up the collar you have, doesn't look standard. And you are really better off to use diamond for grinding your...

Small Mitre Saw - Where can I get a balde?

Apologies I misread the description. I can't find one at 350 mm at all, other than in Australia! loads of 550 ones. Think you might have to go with ChaiLatte 's suggestion. The blade will probably be too hard for a regular drill bit, if so just get a suitable sized cobalt one to drill the new...
