Dining Room Carver Chairs - Take 2

Hi Derek, I've just read through this thread, great work and its interesting to see your methodology overcoming the design and construction details. Going back to the question of the grain direction for the loose tenons, I see you went for long grain tenons (top to bottom) and not short grain...

History puts across a balanced view, that's why I can confidently say the NHS was not only saved by Labour it was measurably better. You say you don't have opinions but you appear to object to other peoples, which gives the impression you having opposing opinions, you're not too fond of...

I agree with most if what you say but facts are facts, under Labour waiting lists dropped and under the Tories they have risen (again) massively. Its a difference of wills, Labour want a National Health Service and, despite what they say, the Conservatives don't.

    Let’s play a game

That happens to me too and I feel the same as you. Someone told me, "don't expect other people to treat you with the same respect you treat them, you'll be disappointed most of the time" Its true unfortunately.

    DT Technician, Chippenham

DT = design technology, when I was at school we had metalwork, woodwork, textile and technical drawing classes, I think DT combines these classes, I'm sure Mandy will correct me if I've missed out anything.

PFI contracts cover a broad spectrum of things, the Tories were not shy of using this type of funding and it peaked under them. My point still stands, Labour saved the NHS. The means it had at the time were these contracts, my other point still stands, instead of blowing money on their donaters...

A fairly sound economy, really? Our country was on its knees as it always is after a period of Tory rule. They did save the NHS and what bills are you referring to? I'm not sure why we would have any unpaid bills from back then, there seems to be enough tax payers money to pay companies...
