Have a look at a program called forscan which can be downloaded on to a laptop for free. Then you just need a compatible cable (more info on the forscan website).

    Dewalt dw720 table size needed.

The front pieces are 399 and 69mm deep, the rear pieces are 44 and 149 deep. All 855 wide (make them as wide as you want though) and 18mm MDF. Between the front and rear sections is the fence which is 18mm MDF again and mine seems to be 64mm high but that seems excessive ( may not be...

How to mount Blum soft-close hinge with push to open?

As far as shadow gaps go you just use the adjustment screws on the hinge itself, however with those style mounting plates I think you may be lacking in vertical adjustment. Can you not use the cruciform style mount which would allow this? The tech drawing appears to be for overlay use, should...

    Who the Heck are Magnusson?

I have a Magnusson hammer that I found about 15 years ago. It's brilliant. Lad that I work with bought one a couple of months ago and it is complete tat. I'm just waiting for the grip to fall off.... We have a few of their sash clamps, most of which are ok but one the thread jams part way...

    Wasps

Paint the bench with woodworm killer https://www.screwfix.com/p/sika-sikagard-woodworm-killer-clear-5ltr/56214 It is clear and contains permethrin which is an insecticide. Not sure how long it will last, but possibly longer than soapy water. Hope this helps, Mike

    Garage Floor Repair

You could use a pva/water mix to seal everything, then deep base self leveling compound to bring the low areas up, pva again then regular thin set self leveling compound all over to finish?

    Pocket hole screws...

I have used the square drive screws from both kreg and Triton, there doesn't appear to be any difference in quality. We now get our pocket hole screws from Hafële - perfectly fine and POZI DRIVE! 😀

Need Help on Bevel Cuts for Wardrobe Carcass....

Yes you need to pack out from the bench with some scrap. If a panel length is slightly longer than the bench is high, I have packed up the bench surface to suit, however at 1.5 meters I would be asking the boss to do a redesign for practical purposes...

Need Help on Bevel Cuts for Wardrobe Carcass....

There is a method of cutting this angle with the tracksaw. Difficult to explain without photos, but basically you clamp the board vertically to the side of your bench and use the saw to cut the opposing angle on the end of the board (rather than the required angle on the face). In your case...

    Screws not supporting brackets

When using an sds drill you sometimes need to go half to 1mm smaller in drill size than if just using a hammer drill. Example For a brown plug use 7mm bit for hammer drill - 6mm bit for sds. Also if your screw isn't getting a good grip in your plug, it is often possible to put a plug that...

    Track saw suitability

I believe that some tracksaws can have a rip fence attached to allow them to work as a regular rip saw. Best of both worlds?

    Oil based, water resistant finishes

I highly recommend Osmo Polyx. I used it on my kitchen worktops and it has stood up to everything the wife has thrown at it. (except for oven cleaner) Not a single black water stain anywhere.

Ridiculous things you believed as a child...

I once saw a theory that expanded on this, went into the stain quotient of the substance attached to the cat, and the type of surface that the cat was dropped upon. In summary the guy theorised that trains could be sustainably powered by dropping cats with tikka masala smeared on their backs...
