    Joke Thread III

    Ok..Why do you have to aim your gun 15cm above a Parisian's head if you want him dead ? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Because his superiority complex is the hardest part of him to kill.

:-) you can also vocalise the ouille part in words as oo yee One of the things which makes french hard to learn is the amount of words where part of what is written as a word has become silent when spoken. The Parisians make it worse again as they keep changing the way they say words in order to...

What is your pet peeve injury in the workshop?

I have found that keeping ultra strong neodymium magnets in the atelier allows me to pull out even the tiny bits of swarf that get embedded in finger tips, but the hole still smarts for 10 minutes or so, or again later when using some "active" type solvent if it gets onto the finger tips.I've...

Impact Driver : Bosch Blue or Metabo

They were already painful back in the silver halide days.I had Hasselblad, Bronica and Contax when I had a pro photo business back in the UK for a few years. Power tools

The old ones were good, the newer ( last 10 years no ) ..a bit like dewalt. as Adam says..Makita. Or Parkside performance, 5 year guarantee, spares for at least 5 years, usually 10. UK may not require 10 years spares since brexit ?...EU does, not always respected, but Parkside IME do.

Post a photo of the last thing you made

There is a great deal of money to be made in making "adult" items..;-) But, given where you work, no..and given the weird ( whitehousian* ) type minds that some have..I'd be careful who sees what you make or have made, what they might decide to "take offense" to ..you don't need anyone saying...
