    That’s alright you need to get tour point across you don’t need aprons if I built another bench which I will as I’d like a pattern makers vice I’d go without as it’s better for clamping I’ll dig out some images

    Good condition for its age my first bench had a Chinese one for £25 couldnt belive my luck not the smoothest action tho but my other older bench I took it from got a nice new one from rutlands which works a treat ha I think tho the main bench one day will get a repo pattern makers vice

    I know he said he had some old tools for me didn’t expect this in the bunch haha Won’t take these to work tho they stay in the workshop use my mhgs for work as less precious about them but still use a wooden mallet I know old school but nothing wrong with a bit of old school at times

    Always remember my grandad wearing a white coat sortve like a doctors one but then thought of the two ronnies and the brown onse workers etc used to wear anyone still wear one

    My copy of my grandfarther carpenters toolbox I can’t imagine chaps taking these on the trains and buses back in the day be nice to know what tools people used back then my grandads were taken by a relative for eBaying sadly

    Tool box

    So here’s my tool box it’s a hop up saw bench and has a cut out for holding a door and two small boxes to hold small hand tools then a much larger space below. I’ve tried many different types over the years and only downside is it’s not lockable so then if I have to I use my old joiner box
