Good condition for its age my first bench had a Chinese one for £25 couldnt belive my luck not the smoothest action tho but my other older bench I took it from got a nice new one from rutlands which works a treat ha I think tho the main bench one day will get a repo pattern makers vice

Prettt much what was there before basically a branch shoved it thought it deserved better and the boxwood was nicely figurative as it’s usually a bit bland

Recently restored this french clog makers axe from around the late 1800s with a turned handle made from boxwood

I use mine I made from elm for hedglaying

So I wanted a smaller tool chest and found this old one on eBay and then went about restoring it. Was previously used by and electrical engineer in the British army

So I’ve been gifted this lovely set of original marples chisels by my girlfriends grandad I feel very lucky indeed

So here’s my tool box it’s a hop up saw bench and has a cut out for holding a door and two small boxes to hold small hand tools then a much larger space below. I’ve tried many different types over the years and only downside is it’s not lockable so then if I have to I use my old joiner box
