    Remote control for my extraction

Yep not saying you were wrong, just saying that I don't know why a manufacturer would put one on. I wonder if it's due to H&S? Who knows, but as you say it's got one and you need a solution for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pocket Hole Clamps - 4 at Rutlands

Just seen an ad from Rutlands for 4 pocket hole clamps. I've never used pocket holes so might be talking complete guff, but I don't see why you'd need 4. Surely you use one and screw in next to it, unclamp, do the one where the clamp was and then move on? Really can't see why you'd need 4...

    Solar trickle chargers

Around 10W and you won't need a regulator. Over that then you will. If you're just looking to keep a car topped up then 10w will be fine. If you're looking to charge a battery from flat then you probably need 100w - obviously depends on the size of your battery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Help needed PLEASE

Well as I said earlier the best video but I didn't know that you'd got expert help. I think we need to be told what percentage of the winning prize the video maker is going to get? Sounds like at least a new iPad / iPhone / Mac / Go Pro / DJI Phantom Quad Copter / Nikon DSLR? I definitely...

Health & Safety, has it gone to far?

Just clip the harness onto the step ladder! What can go wrong! :-) I'm a big fan of reporting near misses and the idea of punishing people for reporting them is terrible. That in itself is a serious breach of health and safety! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wood Working Quiz!

The box joint is fair comment and I did notice that when I first posted but at no point did he explain about ensuring where the screw went and he did over-tighten it. I think if the video was a minute longer it could have explained thing in a little more detail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Record Chuck Jaws on an Axi Chuck & Pen jaws for a Mill?

The jaws I've posted above don't have a V shape as you've drawn it. It would be a point which would mean it would hold on the flat face not on the corner. If it was square it wouldn't matter as 4 sides would touch but if it's oblong the widest sides would touch and not the narrow. This means it...

Health & Safety, has it gone to far?

I think H&S is often used as an excuse to stop people doing things when the reality is that the so called "Rules" don't exist. Carry out a risk assessment (otherwise known as common sense) and then take action based on that. We all do this all the time, but just stopping to think is valuable...

    Remote control for my extraction

I don't know why you'd need a NVR on a Vac? i understand the need on things with sharp spinny blades etc. but are they worried you'll get sucked up if the power suddenly comes back on and you happen to be near it?

    Storage suggestions required.

I have a cheap £50 Karcher we and dry vac, that's connected to a Dust Mite or Dust Deputy (I forget which). This then feeds up to my "dust centre" which then as you can see connects to all of the blast gates. Since that photo was taken I've added another feed off which goes over to the other...
