    As previously suggested look at local auctions for an old one, I recently purchased an Amolco, (A Mole & Co) for £10 plus 15% commission, cleaned off the surface rust and stripped down the quill and oiled all moving parts and it's brilliant and no play at all. so real bargains are out there.

    Can anyone identify an engineering hand tool I have with no markings at all. It's 8.5" long has a ratchet mechanism and obviously only turns in one direction depending which way up it is held. The conical end with 4 holes unscrews and the other end has a 3/8" square drive

    Took it up again last March at the start of lockdown but this time using resin/wood to make useful things no one wants, empty yoghurt pots do come in handy. The wood is a mix of Juniper, burr Elm and Pieris

    Thanks Phil, it came with RH faceplates but nothing for the LH out board spindle, might look at having an alloy disc made if nothing turns up. Nice bike
