    Dust Extraction AGAIN (Sorry Guys!)

That's very good to put it outside. I have a Jet extractor, with a micro filter. I'm struggling with the noise issue more than the dust. An air filter will help pick up the micro particles, but I don't have anywhere to move the extractor outside of the workshop. If you come across anything...

    Dust Extraction AGAIN (Sorry Guys!)

Do check noise levels. It seems the cyclones are noisier than the standard dust extractors - even if they have induction motors. If you look at Axminster, they rate some of their cyclones at xxdB (at 3m), because they don't sell well due to the noise they make. If you work alone, it's fine with...

What tool would this have been?

Jet AFS-500 air filter PCB repair – help please.

Is there any reason why this has to be a 750 - 900v capacitor. Wouldn't a 305v capacitor of the same value (1uF) work too?

WARCO bench top pillar drills...any good?

Same question myself. I had an axminster hobby floor standing one, but it used belts to change speeds, and accuracy could have been better. I am currently looking for something much smaller, possibly the Bosch bench drill, which is small, but looks like it will do a better job. Have you...
