they are called corrugated fasteners and Screwfix do sell them,
just Google corrugated fasteners
They might not be suitable for a rabbit huch as they are plain steel

I have been cutting/resawing some reclaimed 5" Teak over a number of years and have found M42 blades the only ones to last any reasonable time, plus with the oily nature of the wood they they cut extremely well and do not strain the saw

I don't think the scissor jack idea will work unless the plate is fixed to the table as the jack will just push the plate and router out of its location when compressing the springs,
