What are you really bad at?

I'm really bad at getting a neat finish on silicone when I'm sealing something up onto brickwork/stone like windows and door frames. I'm also really bad to get stuck in working and forget to clean up as I'm going along, before I know it in surrounded by crap and it takes twice as long to clear...

Damaged Plastic window seal .. fill it???

Put a pic up of the damage mate it'll help a lot. You could probably fill it with silicone sealant and smooth if off. It'll look a lot better but still be visible

    Drill bits for concrete.

Either try an sds drill or first it's worth trying the blue bosch multi construction drill bits in a normal drill. They're loads better than cheap bits. Also worth starting with a small bit before the bigger one to make your life easier.

Why is my Thicknesser Giving this finish???

Looks like the timber is wet? Extraction And sharp knives makes a massive difference to the finish.

    Carving a Tudor rose.

I know it's down to personal taste nut I prefer the stairs without the roses. You've done a cracking job of the stairs but with the roses I feel it takes away from the cleaness of it all. If you like them though that's what matters :D

    Dog nail grinders

I've got a boxer dog and he hated me doing his with snips, bought a wahl pet nail grinder, first time I used it on him he fell asleep as I was doing it  I use mine without the guard though it seems easier.

    25mm kickboard clips.

Plinth clips are rubbish at the best of times. I normally use clips in the middle of a run of cabinets and then these at the ends... https://www.toolstation.com/plinth-lock ... pNEALw_wcB They work really well and stop you getting gaps in the plinth too.

    Sockets tripped

If it keeps happening, unplug everything and plug it all back in one at a time. It's likely something that's plugged in that's at fault rather than your house electrics, assuming they're not donkeys years old.

    'Hidden' door. Hinges weights etc.

I'd split it into two doors, if you want it simple two flat slabs of mdf for the doors will be fine, 3 hinges of each will be ample. I'd make the shelving out of 2x1 battens.
