Found Inca Euro 205 Bandsaw SORTED

The Euro 260 / 342.186 is not much bigger than the 205 and seems to be more common/easier to find. You may want to consider either model as they are built very similarly.

    Band saw Table Adjustment

Yes, the Inca has flat tyres. If the blade is not too big and the tracking is ok, check that the bottom wheel hasn't moved/slipped forward away from the motor. I believe this has happened to a few folk.

This should be required watching for anybody working in wood

That video's excellent and the reason my bench has a similar planing strip running down its length (mine is a little thicker and has slots cut in it for chisels, etc). It didn't convince me to do away with a vice though.

    Dremel

I have a 400. Dremels are a useful (but not essential) for a few guitar building tasks, including cutting the rosette and various inlay rebates and can, at a pinch, use them for cutting the binding and purfling channels, although a palm router is probably a better choice for that. If you don't...

    19mm Bench dogs - 20mm or 3/4" hole?

I find the Veritas wonder Dog quite a tight fit in a 3/4 hole, so expect 20mm will be fine. But as others have said, it is an easy experiment to try in a piece of scrap. p.s. my holdfasts like a slightly smaller hole, so you may have to compromise. And now edited for typos.

    Has anyone ever considered Formaldehyde?

You can always use solid timber and choose you glue and finish with some care.

Yet another english style workbench build

    >Don't use winding sticks along the length as described above. Agreed, and I think we're saying the same thing - you need winding sticks that can run perpendicular to the apron and can span from front to back. If this bench is ~24" deep then the 18" ones you currently have won't work. You don't...

p.s. where did you find the wooden screw?

Yet another english style workbench build

Looking good. I pinched, some of Richard's design elements for my bench. You can use wedges to prop up a corner to get some/most of the wind out. This will save some time planeing the aprons, but means you may well have to trim or shim the legs when you're done. If you have a little extra...

Using benchtop machines without dust extraction kit

I don't disagree about the planer/thicknesser struggling without extraction, but you should be able to run a bandsaw without extraction. You will have to regularly clean it out though. I have seen lunchbox thicknessers run without extraction. Makes a lot of mess, but might get away with it on...

    Vibrating floor

Excellent. That looks like a relatively painless fix. When you say 'stiffeners' under the surface, do you mean there are braces under the benchtop running from front to back?

    Vibrating floor

You decoupled the saw from the bench/floor with the rubber mat. You need to couple it to the bench - is it bolted down? - then ensure the bench and/or the bench and floor can damp the vibrations. A rubber mat between the bench and floor will only help if the bench is heavy (or floppy, but not...

    grain filling, only uk method

What type of timber are you filling? I'm quite fond of the BLO slurry method, but I don't think it will work well on oily woods like rosewood.

    Air extraction for small workshop

I was considering getting one of the little Thor units. I think it was your video that convinced me to get the Record, which appears to be significantly quieter. It (the AC400) is quiet enough to run at full speed late at night without any danger of upsetting the neighbours.

    Air extraction for small workshop

I have small shed/workshop. I put a Record AC400 in it eventually - was reluctant to give up the space for a long time - and it is one of the best purchases I've made. It means I can't store much timber in there any more, but is well worth the compromise.

Temporary closing off a double garage

I thought this is what sheathing ply was largely invented for. If you want to tart it up, you could varnish it. edit - just had a vision of Caruthers shaking his head. Apologies if I've used an Americanism, but that's what my local building merchant call the stuff with one good side that won't...

This is mine. It was made in '93 in France.

    Bandsaw, Good Old manufacturers

The Inca Euro 260/342.186 might fit the bill. There are usually a couple available on eBay.

    Inca Bandsaw

Looks like there is nothing critical missing. Mitre guide would be nice, but not essential. Ask if this is hiding somewhere though as replacement is tricky due to the non-standard slot it slides in. As it's going to be a cash on collection deal, make sure it turns on and have a look inside...

    Workshop with Tiled roof

Mineral wool is also pretty good at sound deadening, so even if you never heat the shed it will still be of use if you start making any noise inside it.
