Help with new Table Saw choice

I have had a Scheppach ts 2500ci in my single garage for quite some time and it has served me well. I expect that the size of some of your anticipated work will be a determining factor in your final choice. The Scheppach is a great piece of kit though, might just be worth a thought.

    Trend Mortise and Tenon Jig

As far as I can see you can only put any piece of work into the jig one way. The front face of the jig is adjusted/positioned at 22.5 degrees so that the part of the timber to be machined is flat. It isn't possible to set it up as 'opposites' Below is a link to the jig being used...

    Trend Mortise and Tenon Jig

Hiya pete, thank s for coming in on my query. I have placed each of the workpieces into the jig in an identical manner and, my understanding is that after cutting the first piece, whether that be the mortise or the tenon, all you need to do is then change whichever guide bush that you have been...

    Possible Woodworm

Hi folks, I have acquired what was once a card table and, it is my intention to play around with it and modify it somewhat for use by my granddaughter. Arches

Well chaps, thank you so much for all of your input. I have decided to change tack on this one. I am moving away from the complications of producing curved arches and instead, I am going to make them sort of (part) octagon shaped. I'm sure you will know what I mean. I'm convinced that I...

    Arches

Hello folks. I need to make two arches, without the need for any process involving steaming/laminating. I want the profile to be as close as possible to 100mm by 50mm and made from tanalised timber. I have, hopefully, attached a rough image which indicates where I am trying to be. I will...

    Hinges

Thank you for your input Myfordman, Strangely enough I was just having a mooch around my workshop and I found a box of kitchen hinges and the thought crossed my mind that these might do the job. I also found the required 35mm bit to fit them. I think that I will give this a go. Thanks again...

    Hinges

I have made a cabinet and now need to hang the door. The whole thing is made from plywood and the door measures 600mm by 300mm by 18mm (not very big at all) It's not a fussy job, i.e. not a piece of furniture and, I am wondering what hings to use. My main concern is how to overcome the...
