    How safe are your passwords

Old car registration numbers (that you've owned) can be easy to remember using upper and lower case for the former or latter letters. And easy to remember plus put an alternative character at the end. 12 chars min imo Example: kx53BUKbu856XPC@

    Small table finishing advice

This project is for a small custom table from offcuts - for a game console to sit on. I'm not sure whether an oil or wax finish would be better. I'm leaning toward oil because of the grooves around the edges. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Home Furniture Magazine Bargain

I also got that email from Taunton Press. I added to shopping cart, then: "This product is currently out of stock". Despite: "Availability: In Stock" So I'm unable to purchase them. (Want to buy, but can't.) My business is web-site development and search marketing - so I find the above...

Advice required for Daughter who was never paid for her work

All in my opinion of course; just send them the following by Recorded Delivery and wait for the response. Dear Mr ..... I assert that you have made an unlawful deduction of wages by witholding my final payment and I write to give you notice of my intention to claim it. I hope that it will...

Advice required for Daughter who was never paid for her work

I have some experience with employment matters and contractual law. Payment in cash is not an issue and neither is HMRC relative at this point. So just to clarify, can you specify: 1. What was she eventually paid? 2. How much was the agreement per hour when she agreed to work for them? 3. How...

    Record Bedrock 607 Jointer advice

Just an update to this for anyone interested. The cold weather put me off with tinkering for a while, but I stripped it down for a de-rust. After de-rust treatment: I have not touched the sole or the blade yet, this was just a first swipe on some plywood. The micrometer is...

Is there any day next week that I could visit for a look through? It would be a 4 to 5 hour round trip for me. Looking for a lathe, drill and bits, also might be interested in a sander (can you tell me more as to what sanders are available?) And some wood lol. Feel free to PM me.
