Makita Track Saw Blades - my brain hurts

And what happens if you don't have a splinter guard at all, but just align the rail correctly with masking tape on both sides. Try it?

Advice on paint sprayers for emulsion paint

The big difference between roller and spraying is that it's really hard to touch up/cover over marks after spraying, without noticing the difference. Spraying can give ultra flat finish. I would stick with roller and brush IMO.

Makita Track Saw Blades - my brain hurts

IMO the splinter guard is a little bit of bollo. Decent masking tape on both sides, set blade just low enough to do the job, clean up. Peter Millard did an experiment on this stuff on YT

Artie - could you expand on that thought please? Genuinely interested as to what you are thinking. AI related.

    ChatGPT - artificial intelligence.

I just tried it. Server overload and got presented with Javascript to keep me interested and sign up for when it will be available again. Reading @Molynoox words though, means it does work. I will try again soon as AI is a big interest for me, and where it might/will lead.

    ...ed Off...

I have only heard of the following once, although it rings true with the above. A chap asked the plasterer to do the job AND mist coat it - so his decorator didn't have any further preparation to do. Maybe the plasterer was cheaper than the finishing trade in that instance. Not 100% sure though.

@Jameshow In case you are interested (and don't know her), ERIKA THOMPSON aka @texasbeeworks on YT has some really excellent videos. She just did an appearance on YT Joe Rogan 8th December.

    Workshop Roof

I would suggest they might not want or need the job - but have priced it at a point (where if you agree), they are onto a big win. Do you know when they are booked up to? That might provide another clue.

Track saw at 45 degrees - rubber edge ruined?

Brilliant workmanship. Can I ask what is the finish on those doors? (I don't understand the patchy effect.) Thanks.

Energy bills dated end of December 2022

Energy bills dated end of December 2022. Just got mine : £375 for 30 days. Despite a (roughly) 20% reduction in usage over December 2021 (according to their numbers). 70% Gas (Heat and hot water) 30% Electric = £375 Comparable?

That reminds me of a TV scene where that English Chef/Cook had a wild deer in the sights but then couldn't pull the trigger: (1 minute vid)

    Mortgage rates / interest etc

There was no demand for the debt that Liz Lettuce created. So money wanted to flee that debt and currency. Quickly. It did.

UK WW2 final payoff to USA loan was in 2006. Not that it really matters when printing money can win. Dad was a Hurricane pilot.
