I have been back to the workshop this morning before work. I changed the blade and lo and behold the wobbling stops. Fantastic. I will get a new blade and a new bearing and I will be back in business. Thankyou so much for your help i would have done something silly like get a new axle. :lol:

I am drinking something slightly stiffer than coffee at prsent. Cheers though i am ready for a rematch tommorow.

The bearings are running quiet. I have checked this. I did not think it was possible to kink the blade. I will get to the workshop tommorow and try your test. I have a spare blade so i will test it first thing. Thankyou for your quick response i am finding this a bit traumatic. Corset

Thankyou for your ideas i think i will build a sledge and probably just two sides but that jig does look tempting. With regards to 7.5cm square i had a bit of an over engineering moment. Cutting the planks into strips was a nightmare. But at least it won;t snap easily> :D
