    Advice on using an MFT to cut full sheets

    I agree, I use a cutting table and parallel guides I made, then use a MFT. Also use rail square to square up ends of full sheets after cutting roughly 10mm off the factory edge for say cladding studwork ect.

    Sounds like your going beyond the adjusters on the underside of the saw you need to stop about 150mm from the end of the rail as the adjuster keeps the saw Parallel to the guide.

    I had thought about the joiner bar and it would definitely work and save drilling a tapping(I broke a tap🤬) and grinding the slotted block. For me it saved me so dosh as I needed the slotted block profile for another project and still have another 1m for more projects.

    Dewalt dust extractor DVW902M - annoying alarm

    I opened up the extractor today to disconnect the alarm and found that the clear vacuum pipe was kinked fixed that and has stopped the alarm for now anyway.

    I think if it had a dedicated router for it and was always set up I would definitely use it a lot. I watched the vid again (seen last year some point) there a good features I forgot about too. The twin fence to make grooves on edge of door for intumescent strip and drop seals.

    Forgot to mention that the hinge side is self height adjusting aswell as having a lock and that the pivot is tight enough in the brass collars to hold its self almost vertical until it hits the track clamping bolt
